Item 1: Amendments to Rules for Nationally Recognized Statistical Rating Organizations; Propose and Re-propose Rules for Nationally Recognized Statistical Rating Organizations

The Commission will consider whether to adopt rule amendments that would impose additional requirements on nationally recognized statistical rating organizations in order to address concerns about the integrity of their credit rating procedures and methodologies. The Commission also will consider whether to propose and re-propose certain proposed rules relating to transparency and competition concerning nationally recognized statistical rating organizations.
