SEC Chairman Cox in New York on Tuesday for Major Announcement About Interactive Data in Financial Reporting

Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Christopher Cox will be in New York on Tuesday, Sept. 25, and will hold a news conference to make a major announcement about interactive data (XBRL) in financial reporting.

The news conference will begin at 10 a.m. ET at the SEC's New York Regional Office. Joining Chairman Cox will be the CEO of XBRL US and two international XBRL leaders.

Other attendees are expected to include CEOs and other representatives from SEC filers, accounting firms, technology firms, and investors.
