The text file below provides the number of electronic public EDGAR filings by form type for each calendar year since 1993. The file contains: Filing Date Year; Form Type; and Count. The file is updated on a quarterly basis. The number of filings includes only those filings that are disseminated to the public through the EDGAR filing system and does not include non-public filings. Certain filings are disseminated on a delayed basis and may result in a revised total in subsequent updates.
