Subject: File Number S7-07-18: Stop financial advisers from sapping Americans' retirement savings

Securities and Exchange Commission

To the and Exchange Commission,

Having been an occasional  'victim' of these excesses at times, it is pertinent that this 'good' type of regulation be extended to all forms of 'financial advice' so as to protect 'main street' from 'wall street.'  Likewise, it is incumbent upon legislators and/or governing bodies to not fall 'victim' to corporate manipulation and old retread excuses about how such 'regulation' is bad for their business; do your own diligence and not be led astray.

I'm counting on you to make a stronger rule that closes the loophole.
Americans who've worked hard to save for retirement deserve peace of mind about their financial security.

Sincerely,

Mr. Paul Wheat
