Jun 20, 2018 Securities and Exchange Commission To the and Exchange Commission, My husband and I are retired, we have a very small nest egg that we really can't afford to lose. We have already taken a huge hit twice when the stock market bottomed out in the 80's and again a number of years later. We have never recovered from that. I remember getting up to 6% interest on stocks and bonds. The banks have made it impossible to make even the smallest amount of profit on your savings and investments now. Yet the government wants to do away with our Social Security. We are Baby Boomers, and there are millions of us in this same predicament!!! We can only take care of ourselves if you give us the way's and means to do so!!! I'm counting on you to make a stronger rule that closes the loophole.
