Securities and Exchange Commission

To the and Exchange Commission,

We choose financial advisors, expecting them to give us good advice to
make our lifetime savings last so that we will not be a burden to our
children or society. We should not have to worry about hidden fees and
loopholes that pad their pockets at our expense. I trusted an advisor
who I also thought was a friend and was sold expensive annuities with
high fees. When I asked about fees or her commission, she hedged and
reassured me that this was the best thing for me.
I learned a costly lesson, but many older people do not have the
knowledge to question the advice they receive.

I'm counting on you to make a stronger rule that closes the loophole.
Americans who've worked hard to save for retirement deserve peace of
mind about their financial security.

I will be watching to see who votes to correct this and my votes will
be cast accordingly.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Carolyn Henderson
