Jun 20, 2018 Securities and Exchange Commission To the and Exchange Commission, To Whom it may Concern, Wall Street seems to have gone astray from why people ordinarily invested in equities- on the strength of companies. It seems to be more like legalized gambling with all of the on-line trading. There seems to be lack of regulation especially on the individuals or groups with large accounts which seem to control the value in the market. Corporate balance sheets seem to mean less and less with high activity driving up/down the value of stocks.Rooting out these ruthless money- makers and returning the stock market to realizing value of profitable companies should become part of the agenda of market overseers such as the SEC.
