Jun 20, 2018 Securities and Exchange Commission To the and Exchange Commission, The average American is afraid to make investments in the stock market for just these kind of problems. We feel that we're being taken advantage of and our laws should make sure that this is not the case. Older Americans especially cannot afford for their savings to be abused....and especially for the advantage of the very people who are supposed to be advising us. Personally I keep my funds in savings accounts and CDs which is detrimental financially, but I have no faith in the safety of the stock market and don't have the longevity to find out. I'm counting on you to make a stronger rule that closes the loophole. Americans who've worked hard to save for retirement deserve peace of mind about their financial security.
