Securities and Exchange Commission

To the and Exchange Commission,

Americans have to work longer than ever to save enough to live in
retirement. I had to continue employment after I reached age 65. My
employer had terminated its pension plan just before I was hired. My
Social Security is not enough to live on.

Americans who lack specialized financial skills have been forced to
live on savings, and we are dependent on very expensive guidance from
financial advisers. Financial advisers must be strictly required to use
their knowledge in the best interests of their clients.

Financial advisers must no longer be permitted to enrich themselves
while milking their clients. Anyone who gives financial advice must be
held fully accountable for helping hardworking Americans choose the
best investments. No more loopholes!

I'm counting on you to make a stronger rule that closes the loophole.
Americans who've worked hard to save for retirement deserve peace of
mind about their financial security.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Nancy Thorne
