Jun 20, 2018 Securities and Exchange Commission To the and Exchange Commission, I personally have been taken advantage of by a financial advisor who sold me a bunch of annuities instead of investing my money in a way that would benefit me the most. I now realize that he did this because selling annuities (basically instance) generated significant commissions. I thought I was saving for my retirement. Actually I was patting his! We should be able to trust these people but apparently we can't, and loopholes in the law making it essentially legal for them to fleece retirees is nothing short of outrageous. I'm counting on you to make a stronger rule that closes the loophole. Americans who've worked hard to save for retirement deserve peace of mind about their financial security.
