Jun 20, 2018 Securities and Exchange Commission To the and Exchange Commission, There are so many forces at work that make it harder and harder for average Americans to have the chance of a comfortable retirement. Pensions are for the most part a thing of the past and each of us are on our own to try and make sense of a system that is not our area of expertise. If the rules are weakened and those giving financial advice are allowed to profit from the advice they give many more people who are genuinely trying to stay off government assistance will need help because their investment will not be enough. It makes financial sense to do this. I'm counting on you to make a stronger rule that closes the loophole.
