Jun 20, 2018 Securities and Exchange Commission To the and Exchange Commission, Those who give financial advice should be held to high ethical standards and put the interests of their clients above their own commissions or other bonuses. Many people turn to these financial advisors because they do not have the training in financial investments and are very susceptible to being taken advantage of. There should be no hidden fees and there should be total transparency about what these financial advisors are earning for their services. Loopholes in the current law allow for financial advisors to take advantage of hard-working Americans. I'm counting on you to make a stronger rule that closes the loophole. Americans who've worked hard to save for retirement deserve peace of mind about their financial security. Sincerely, Dr. Gloria Pobst
