I pay for financial advice and management and trust the experts to give me sound advice. I should not need to worry if there are hidden fees and charges that is sapping my retirement fund to make my adviser wealthy at my expense. The existence of loopholes like this creates an image of advisers in the financial sector as unscrupulous and evil. This image reduces the customer base for advisers and drives down investments as investors take their money to other areas to avoid being a victim. Do what is right and legitimate business will flow.
