Americans who've worked hard to save for retirement deserve peace of mind about their financial security. It's your job to prevent Wall Street (all financial planners and institutions) from stealing money for their own financial gain. It's known as theft, stealing, lying, cheating, fraud, etc. It's your job to stop it. Maybe you don't care because you get lifetime income for not doing what you've been elected to do.
