Jun 21, 2018 Securities and Exchange Commission To the and Exchange Commission, Securities and Exchange Commissioner, Please take action to ensure financial advisers are legally required to avise their clients in a manner that safeguards the financial security of the client. It pains me and probably millions of other Americans that we have to have laws to force people to behave with integrity and goodwill. But history has shown that we clearly have many such people in the financial arena. Please protect us from them. Please make your decision based on the wellbeing of American citizens, all of whom need the money they are investing to care for themselves. Very few benefit from having peope go bankrupt, become homeless, require government hand outs to survive, etc. Help us carry out our plans for being financially responsible and financially secure in our senior years ( our entire lives actually) by effectivly restraining those who would cheat us out of our invested funds.
