- Liberty Transfer Co. is impersonating a former genuine entity having the same name (CIK Number: 0000912887; SEC Number: 084-05474). The legitimate Liberty Transfer Co. had its registration cancelled by the SEC, effective March 21, 2011, and is defunct (see SEC Release No. 34-64102). The impersonator has NO connection with, and is not to be confused with, the former genuine entity.
- Claims to work with, or makes other reference in its solicitations to, among various soliciting entity names, McPherson Gordon Ltd., a purported financial advisory services firm.
- The pseudo-Liberty Transfer Co. previously purported to be located in Washington, DC 20004 with the phone number 202-459-0977 and website address http://www.liberty-transfer.net/.
