A notice has been issued giving interested persons until April 11, 2006 to comment on the application of AvalonBay Communities, Inc. to withdraw its common stock, $.01 par value, and 8.70% series H cumulative redeemable preferred stock, $.01 par value, from listing and registration on the Pacific Exchange, Inc.
