December 2022 XBRL Taxonomies Update

Dec. 20, 2022

On December 16, 2022, the Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval (EDGAR) system was upgraded to Release 22.4 and now supports the 2022Q4 version of the Executive Compensation Disclosure (ECD) and Document and Entity Information (DEI) taxonomies. These taxonomies provide the elements for tagging disclosures related to the Commission releases on Pay Versus Performance and Listing Standards for Recovery of Erroneously Awarded Compensation. Please refer to the Release Notes for details.

Please see https://www.sec.gov/info/edgar/edgartaxonomies for a complete listing of supported standard taxonomies. Consistent with previous version compatibility requirements, filings that use the 2022Q4 version of the ECD taxonomy or DEI taxonomy must also use the 2022 version of all other taxonomies within the same submission.

The staff strongly encourages companies to use the most recent version of taxonomy releases for their eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) filings to take advantage of the most up-to-date tags related to new accounting standards, disclosure requirements, and other improvements.
